When wind instruments (like clarinet, trumpet, saxophone as well as ethno instruments like bagpipe, kaval, pipes etc.) are recorded it is best to use the soundproof vocal room in our studio in order to capture the pure sound of the instrument without any additional background noises and ambience. There are some special model microphones for such instruments but their main use is for live performances. In our practice we would often find ourselves using Sennheiser E906 microphone which goes into a tube preamplifier DBX 386 that provides some additional harmonics to the sound and the result is always marvelous.

   The price for recording wind instruments is 30 lv/15 euro per hour.

   Additional conditions:

• Time for preparation of the studio for the particular project is charged as recording time.
• We can make an arrangement for at least one hour.
• For every new 15 minutes from an hour you will be charged as for one hour.
